Fun with Finance

Stimulating tailor-made and standardised courses for schools on topical issues in Global and Personal Finance, Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship, Current Affairs and Social Responsibility.

We aim to equip young people with the concepts, terminology and knowledge that will empower them to engage with the world around them in a thoughtful, questioning and constructive manner. 

CHC offers:

  • Classes ranging from one session to full days, a full week or a term
  • Complementary inputs for Young Enterprise and school fund-raising activities
  • Coverage of topics for financial capability key stages 2 - 5
  • Options for community outreach and after-school programmes
  • Trainers with over 30 years of finance, economic development, business and teaching experience 

What we do:

We have a range of themes and modules that we can mix and adjust according to the needs and/or curriculum of a particular school, year or group of students.  Currently, we work with schools in both the state and independent sectors, from Years 4 through to 6th Form.  

We use a variety of methodologies in our sessions including case studies, videos, role play, articles, games, debates, slide presentations, group work, guest speakers and plenty of discussion. The choice of content and methodology will be determined in discussion with the school as will course length and timing.
