Entrepreneur Week

What is it?

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a rallying point for a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, exposing millions to life-changing entrepreneurial experiences. Last year there were over 32,000 events run in 88 countries, attended by more than 7.5 million people.

"The week is important because it inspires a whole new generation of budding entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality." Lord Sugar

Every young person has the capacity to make their mark by harnessing enterprising ideas, skills and talents. Entrepreneurship can raise people out of poverty, enable people to take control of their lives or simply turn their passion into profit.

Dates for 2010:

Monday 15 to Sunday 21 November.

Why participate?

  • A chance to celebrate enterprise across your school. Discover the fantastic impact that it can have on your students.
  • Show students how to make a positive contribution to their community while developing enterprising ideas that could make or save money.
  • It can open up a new world of career options for your students.

What we offer:

The Cool Head Company can help your school put together a fantastic Global Entrepreneurship Week, utilising the dynamism, energy and talents in your school to make it a Week to remember and the start of some great new businesses!

Among other exciting possibilities we can facilitate a Dragons' Den process that will stimulate ideas and help turn business ideas into investable plans.

We also run a value chain day called from the Cotton Field to the High Street to show how many opportunities there are for businesses along a value chain, and to raise awareness of how and where products and services originate and how they get to us.
